Three Types of Matter |
More simply, matter can be defined as stuff. That is if it has mass and takes up space we can call it matter.
Complicating the picture is the fact that matter can exist in several different ways. There are two sets of three in which matter can also exist. We can talk about the three phases of matter (solid, liquid and gas) or the atomic arrangement (elements, compounds and mixtures)

1. Watch each of the following videos, taking written notes on each one.
2. Using your book, written notes from the videos and Google, complete all of Chapter 2, Matter and Change in the Guided Reading and Study Workbook.
